VERI*FACTU is a new system introduced by the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) to ensure that invoicing software guarantees the integrity, traceability, and immutability of each invoice issued. It also allows, on a voluntary basis, the automatic submission of invoice records to the Tax Agency
• From 1 January 2026, it will become mandatory for companies subject to Corporation Tax.
• From 1 July 2026, it will be mandatory for self-employed professionals and other taxpayers who issue invoices using electronic software.
